Just when we thought we had enough of the reports and leaked images related to the upcoming foldable, another spoiler takes the charm away by revealing the colors of Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, just a few weeks before the Unpacked event. The leaked images shared by a well-known tipster include the most detailed angles of the series, making the photos the best look at the smartphones so far.
The new leaked renders give away the complete design and the color options for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6
A popular leaker, Evan Blass, alongside WinFuture, shared the images X. It gives us a sneak peek into the complete look of the foldable as well as its color shades. The Z Fold 6 sports a boxier design that matches previous speculations with thinner bezels and less evident hinges. The camera lenses also have a black ring at the rear, and the phone is showcased to come in three distinct color options: Gray, Navy Blue, and Pink, which are quite different than what we are used to with the Z Fold 5. The handset's aspect ratio would be significantly wider than that of Fold 5 for the inner as well as the cover display.
The Z Flip 6, on the other hand, will be offered in four shades: Silver, Blue, Yellow, and Green, with the silver tone reminding us of Galaxy S24 Ultra's Titanium Gray finish. As previous tipsters claimed, the design will be similar to its predecessor with a relatively larger cover screen and rear camera rings that are color-matched with the device, giving it visually a unique look from the other devices. The camera is expected to be bumped up to 50-megapixel, which is significantly higher than the current variant, and we are hopeful that the battery life will be better as well.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are going to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and could have Galaxy AI capabilities, contributing to the price hike the foldable series would be getting this year. Meanwhile, news of a new Z Fold 6 'Slim', a lighter and slimmer variant, has also been doing the rounds that could be priced relatively lower is expected to be released later this year.
If you are planning to watch the event live, Samsung will hold the Unpacked event on July 10th in Paris and it will start at 9 AM Eastern Time and 6 AM Pacific Time. At the event, we will see the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Z Flip 6 officially come out, along with other products such as the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Ring, and more. Stay tuned for updates on the upcoming devices and the much-hyped Galaxy Unpacked 2024.
