Realme C65 announced, 12x hits India

Realme went ahead and announced the latest entry into its budget C-series lineup with the Realme C65. The device was announced in Vietnam earlier today with entry-level specs including a 90Hz LCD, Mediatek Helio G85 chipset and a 50 MP main cam.

Realme C65 is built around a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It features a punch hole cutout for the 8MP front-facing cam and also supports Realme’s Mini Capsule which displays status info and notifications around the selfie cam similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island.

Realme also added support for air gestures and the brand’s Dynamic Button allowing users to toggle between different shortcuts like launching the camera app and toggling do not disturb mode with a long press.

The back houses a 50MP main cam alongside and a 2MP macro lens alongside the LED flash. The vertically stacked design here is reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy S22. The software side is covered by Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 while the 5,000 mAh battery supports 45W charging.

Realme C65 comes in Black and Purple colors and is priced at VND 3,690,000 ($148) for the 6/128GB trim and VND 4,790,000 ($192) for the 8/256GB version. The device in on sale from Realme Vietnam and is set to arrive in more countries soon including Indonesia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

In related news Realme 12x is now available in India. The latest member of the Realme 12 series brings a few differences from the Chinese 12x with a slightly larger 6.72-inch LCD (FHD+ 120Hz) and faster 45W charging. The Indian variant is still powered by the Dimensity 6100+ chipset and features a 50MP main cam.

Pricing in India starts at INR 11,999 ($144) for the 4/128GB model before offers and tops out at INR 14,999 ($180)for the 8/128GB version. Early bird sales are already underway from Realme and Flipkart.
