Are personal stylists becoming AI's next casualty?

Samsung has made an interesting feature available to Galaxy S25 owners today. A new software update brings the ability to have visual conversations with Gemini Live on the device, absolutely free.
The way this works is simple enough. Press and hold the side button to show Gemini Live what you're looking at and ask a question. Gemini AI will analyze and respond accordingly.
For example, if you're unsure of what shoes go with the dress you've picked out, point the device's camera at the dress and ask Gemini Live something like, “Do these shoes go with this dress?” The AI is intelligent enough to know what you're showing it and can draw upon its learning to provide a relevant answer.
There's endless possibilities of what you can achieve with this. From using its help for reorganizing closets to finding out what material your favorite sweater is made of and the best way to wash it, this feature powers conversations in real-time that feel more natural. It's even possible to share your screen when browsing online retailers to get personalized styling advice from the AI to up your fashion game.
This is technically not a “Samsung” feature, given that it's Google's Gemini AI that's doing the heavy lifting here, but at least it's being offered to all Galaxy S25 device owners for free. An update will bring Gemini Live camera and screen sharing capabilities starting today for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
